Practice intervals, particularly power chords on the 4th/5th and 5th/6th strings. Play the rhythm exercises above until you are proficient at all patterns at slow to medium tempos. Play all the C Major notes on the 4th, 5th, and 6th strings, using groups of 3 notes at a time. Ascend and Descend all strings. Try to learn all the note names.
