However, the point of making this site a wiki, was only for me to lay the groundwork, and have our bright and experienced fellow travelers grow this until it touches every boundary of the guitar universe. I am open to everyone's opinions on the quest for ''understanding music, learning how to play the guitar, and finding the perfect tone'' - I want this site to be for the '''guitarist''', not for me. I am keeping this site as open as possible, and I have nothing to promote or gain other than donations, which I only mention on a few of the introductory pages.

Hello, and welcome to '''MeAmBobbo's Guitar and Recording Wiki''' (MAB Wiki). This site is designed to educate and train aspiring as well as accomplished guitarists, so that they can master the instrument. The main content consists of guitar [[Contents#Lessons|lessons]], [[Contents#Exercises|exercises]], and [[Contents#Reference|quick reference material]]. However, I it also provide general knowledge, guides, and reference materials for [[Contents#Gear and Setup|gear]] and [[Contents#DAW/Recording|home recording systems]] (DAW software). Additionally, I cover it covers lots of generalized musical knowledge, including theory (covered in the lessons), [[Contents#Musical Skills|musical skills]], and the [[Contents#Sound|nature of sound]]. There's a ''lot'' of content here, and I hope to continue it continues expanding!

Then I thought, rather why not try to document everything I have learned about music? But then I wondered how far I could take this...this site could expand much larger than felt and experienced and translated from individual to individualme. This So I made it a wiki is largely as much my opinion (although - I love all forms of musiccan lay the groundwork, so I like to keep it positive and inclusive as possible) as brighter and more experienced fellow travelers can grow the content until it is verifiable facts or tautologically correcttouches every boundary of the guitar universe.
I also didn't want to require stringent referencing or have users wary of posting due to stringent editing guidelines. This site isn't a free-for-all - please read the [[Site Conventions]] before editing, but expect much more lax standards than Wikipedia.
I purposefully tried to use as much text on this site as possible to make it easy to copy/paste and easily shared over the web, but it obviously should not be sold or have ownership claimed over it. Again, please see the [[Site Policies]] to make sure you do so in a respectful and legal manner.
