→Why this Wiki????
However, the point of making this site a wiki, was only for me to lay the groundwork, and have our bright and experienced fellow travelers grow this until it touches every boundary of the guitar universe. I am open to everyone's opinions on the quest for ''understanding music, learning how to play the guitar, and finding the perfect tone'' - I want this site to be for the '''guitarist''', not for me. I am keeping this site as open as possible, and I have nothing to promote or gain other than donations, which I only mention on a few of the introductory pages.
I also didn't want to require stringent referencing or have users wary of posting due to stringent editing guidelines. This site isn't a free-for-all - please read the [[Site Conventions]] before editing, but expect much more lax standards than Wikipedia.
