* Learn all the notes on the 3rd string for the key of C Major.
* Play groups of 3 notes from the C Major scale up and down the 3rd string, in time with a metronome. Try to learn all the note names, saying them out loud as you play to help you learn them.
* Play some intervals on the 1st and 2nd string, then try to play those same intervals on the 2nd and 3rd strings.
* Practice the interval exercises above. Once you are comfortable with the fingering, play in time with a metronome and try to increase your speed, but don't push yourself yet - speed is not important yet.
