Notice how the far-left notes in the G position are the far-right notes in the E/G position, just moved to a lower (thicker) string. All the other notes simply move to the left. The only tricky part is the G/B strings, as they aren't tuned to a perfect 4th. Always try to keep in mind the whole-half patterns involved. Knowing where the 2 half steps are is the key to understanding the major scale and moving it around the fretboard easily.
