This page contains common chord progressions you could expect to find in various pieces.
As you may expect, slight discrepancies in ordering, as well as using [[Seventh 7th Chords|7th chords]] or [[Extended Chords|extended chords]] in place of a triad can blow up the number of permutations possible to an extremely large number. For brevity, I'm trying to avoid writing any extensions, unless they are necessary for the progression.
I am also focusing on harmony, not rhythm. For example, a simple I - IV - V - I progression could be written:
