This is just some clips of the different impedance settings, going from the lowest values to the highest. I was trying to determine if the impedance is actually hardware-based or a simple software emulation. The first clip is my EBMM JPM with a Dimarzio Steve's Special passive humbucking pickup. The second clip uses a Seymour Duncan AHB-1 Bridge Blackouts active humbucker in my Jem clone. The Blackouts have a lower impedance, so the tonal differences from changing the impedance should be less noticeable than for the Steve's Special.
I can't say for certain that the impedance implementation is hardware-based, but the results do appear to suggest so.
